Bayou River Outfitters is surrounded by the Tallahatchie River, Cassidy Bayou, Swan Lake, Blue Lake, and Buzzard Bayou.  All these bodies of water provide natural roosting habitat for the large migration of wintering waterfowl here in the Delta. 

Bayou River provides these waterfowl with feeding and resting areas that make for excellent gunning. Hunts will be over flooded rice, milo, soybean and corn fields.  Most locations are shallow and easily accessible. Bayou River also provides great timber and big water hunting as well. 

When hunting with Bayou River Outfitters, one should be prepared for any type of weather.  Hunters will need to bring guns, shells, waders, and clothes for cold and wet conditions. 

We all know the worse the weather, the better the hunting, so be prepared. Bayou River guides will take 3 to 5 hunters per group, so have at least 3 and no more than 5 per hunting group planned when booking hunts.

• Photo Identification

• Mississippi Game License

• Mississippi State Duck Stamp

• Federal Duck Stamp

• All guns are required to have plugs
